32 years of age Samarpan Karki hailing from Morang has been elected as New Look Mr. Nepal 2023. Pilot by profession Samarpan was able to leave behind his eighteen competitors in the grand finale of pageant held on 22nd of July 2023 at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Durbarmarg, Kathmandu. Samarpan also lifted the trophy of Mr. Intellectual.

In the event Nimesh Kapali from Kathmandu earned first runner-up position. He also bagged Mr. Personality award. Likewise, Krishal Shrestha from Kavre was been positioned as second runner-up. He was also successful to grab the awards called Mr. Talent and Gents Park Style Icon.

In the event Dr. Vijay Duwadi from Chitwan earned third runner-up position while Ashim Lamichhane from Bhatapur completed the event as forth runner-up. Dr. Vijay also earned public choice award while Ashim bagged Most Photogenic award.

In the event Ramanath Giri bagged most popular while Prem Kumar Yadav earned Mr. Active and Best Physique award. Similarly, event awarded Mikaj Karki as Best Skin, Rajiv Tiwari as Best Hair and Lokesh Pradhananga as Newlook Men's choice.

The spectacular grand finale of New Look Mister Nepal 2023 was been organized by Next Models Nepal and was been choreographed by Actor and fashion choreographer Prasant Tamrakar. The nineteen finalists of the event were been dressed on the attires designed by the student designers of IEC College of art and fashion. The opening act of the event was been choreographed by Roshan Gahatraj.

The competition was been judged by panel of jury members which included Glamour Photographer Raj Bhai Suwal, Former Miss Nepal and Media Person Malvika Subba, Actress Aanchal Sharma, Executive Director for New Look beauty for life Vishwa Karan Jain, Cosmetics scientist Lu Lynn, MD for IEC Group Shailaja Adhikari, Dr. Aayushman Ghimire and Woman Entrepreneur Manisha Dongol Shrestha.

The event was been hosted by Fashion Choreographer and Media Person Rojin Shakya.

The love story film, "Julebi," has officially announced its release date. Audiences nationwide can look forward to experiencing the movie starting from the 1st of Bhadra, on the 18th of August 2023. This exciting news coincides with the formal agreement signed between the production team and the esteemed distribution company, DCN.

"Julebi" weaves together the intricate love stories of four female protagonists, entwining three interconnected incidents. The leading roles are portrayed by actresses Usha Rajak, Suraksha Pant, Nisha Adhikari, and Monica Thapa. Alongside them, actors such as Sushil Sitaula, Pushkar Karki, Tufan Thapa, and others grace the cast with their performances.

Additionally, the digital rights for "Julebi" have been successfully sold. DAR Movies now holds the digital rights for the film, solidified through an official agreement signed between Shyam Dhital of DAR Movies and Naveen Bhatt, the film's executive producer. It has also been revealed that certain international rights for "Julebi" have been sold, adding to the film's global appeal.

"Julebi" is brought to life by the skilled producer Abha Sharma Nepal, with Naveen Bhatt serving as the executive producer. Under the banner of Four Cube Entertainment, the film is helmed by the talented director Ganeshdev Pandey, renowned for his previous works "Manjari" and "Gaja Baaja." Capturing the essence of the story, Vivek Khadka handles the cinematography, while Anjay Khadka takes charge of the editing. The immersive sound design is skillfully crafted by Uttam Nyupane, completing the captivating cinematic experience of "Julebi."

The teaser for the movie 'Ek Bhagvat Geeta,' directed by Jharana Thapa, has been released. The teaser features the main actors of the movie and has duration of 1 minute and 33 seconds. The film is scheduled to be released on 15 September 2023 (29 Bhadra 2080).

In the teaser, Bipin Karki and Suhana Thapa are prominently shown. Bipin Karki portrays the character Kamalamai, who is disguised as a woman dressed in red. He can be seen walking around with a stick and knocking people down, suggesting that he is the movie's villain. However, the presence of Suhana and lead actor Dhiraj Magar, doesn't reveal much about the movie's storyline.

'Ek Bhagvat Geeta' is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. The release of the teaser is expected to heighten the audience's curiosity about the movie.

The movie also features Kabir Khadka, Javis and Jebin Shrestha, Sanjog Rasaili, Mukesh Jha, Anurag Kunwar, Ram Kailash Thakur, Dhiraj Thakur, and others in supporting roles.

The story of the movie is written by Jharana Thapa. The screenplay is a collaborative effort between Jharana, Sarin Pokharel, Parichhed Sen, Purushottam Dhungel, and Krishna. The dialogue is penned by Parichhed Sen, Purushottam Dhungel, and Sarin Pokharel.

The cinematography is handled by Rajesh Shrestha, editing by Mitra Di Gurung, fight direction by Himal KC, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj, and background score by Shailesh Shrestha.

22 years of age Shristi Maharjan from Nepal has been victorious to keep crown of Miss Star Universe 2023 in the international pageant named as Miss & Mrs. Star Universe 2023 hosted at Dubai during the event called Indo International Fashion Carnival and Award 2023. She was also successful to bag the categories called Miss Gorgeous and Miss Pride of Star Universe.

Shristi is well known dance performer and is associated with Nepa Dance Academy as a dance instructor. Shristi was been one of the top five finalists of the dance reality show called boogie woogie Nepal.

In the Mrs. Category Joya Budhathoki was been the participant from Nepal. She bagged the award called Mrs. Beautiful body. Both the participants from Nepal were been coordinated by Green Arts Media Pvt. Ltd.

The event also had the participation of fashion make-up artist Rashmi Shrestha and Woman entrepreneur and business woman Parinda Shrestha Pari. Both of them received International Pride Award 2023 in their respective professional categories. In the event fashion choreographer and the director of Green Arts Media, Anila Shrestha was been international jury member.

The award event dedicated to the Fashion fraternity named FASHIONFARE AWARDS 2020 has recently been conducted at Imperial Banquet, Kathmandu. The award event awarded the professionals and emerging individuals from the fashion, modeling, and event fraternity in more than fifty various categories.

The event also honored the professionals in the special category for their sincere contribution and achievement in the related field. In the special category, Commercial photographer Raj Bhai Suwal was felicitated with Photographer of the year award while photographer Mahesh Pradhan earned Event photographer of the year award.

Likewise, Fashion Choreographer Rojin Shakya was bestowed with Best International Pageant Choreographer award whereas Transgender Super Model Anjali Lama was honored with Fashion Excellence of the year award.

Similarly in the event Actor Gaurav Pahari received Celebrity of the year award, Journalist Nemish Gautam received Journalist of the year award, Fashion Designer Tenzin Tseten Bhutia earned Fashion Designer of the year award With special recognition Miss Universe Nepal was recognized as Beauty pageant of the year. The search for Nepal Telecom Miss Newa 1141 has been completed after finalizing the winner of the competition in the grand finale hosted on 15th Falgun 2077 B.S. at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi Kathmandu. The event witnessed Krisha Maharjan being crowned as the winner of the competition and earned one lakh rupees as the cash prize. Besides being the winner Krisha also bagged the award called best in Nepal Bhasa. As the winner, Krisha received the appointment as a goodwill ambassador for Nepal Cancer Relief Society, Nagarjun Municipality and Nepal Kyokushin-Seishin Kaikan Karate Association.

In the event along with Miss Public Choice award Priya Tandukar bagged first runner-up position while along with Miss Charming award Kristina Maharjan earned second runner-up position. Likewise in the event, Manika Khadgi was chosen as the winner of Talent and Photogenic category while Ruhina Maharjan bagged the award of Best Skin and Social welfare ambassador chief. Similarly, the event saw Manisha Maharjan as the winner of Best Dress award while Anjila Maharjan earned Miss Discipline award. Leaving behind the twenty-two competitors, Rashmi Shakya has earned the title award of Let me in Mrs. Beauty Queen Nepal 2021. In the grand finale of the fourth season of the competition showcased at Rashtriya Naachghar, Jamal, Rashmi also bagged the award called Mrs. Talent. In her court, Dr. Asbina K.C. was been positioned as the first runner-up and was also chosen as Mrs. Intelligent while along with the categories Mrs. Best walk and Best Skin Lasata Shakya was successful as second runner-up.

In the competition, Sarmila Ghising was positioned as third runner-up and also bagged the award of Mrs. Multimedia while Sapana Thapa earned fourth runner-up position along with the award called Mrs. Viewer choice. Similarly, Ambika Thapa was crowned as the winner of the Organizer's choice award and was also awarded as Mrs. Personality.

Exploring and expanding horizon of Nepalese modeling scene is going on. One way or the other Nepalese are making their noticeable presence in various modeling activities at international level. This time the team of Promoting Solution Modeling agency from Nepal leaded by Ramesh Jung Shahi showcased the finale of its venture called Model Superstar season 2 in Adheri, Mumbai, India.

Model Super Star season 2, the fashion show cum model competition based on the runway performances had both Nepalese and Indian models performing as the competitors. The event finalized Rabin Ghising as the male winner whereas Jeena Limbu Pangma was chosen as the female winner.

Aakriti Subedi became the winner as per the voting. The event also saw Smriti Shah and Prashant Shah as the first runner-ups. Indian models, Sumit Anand as second runner-up while Sneha Burman earned organizer choice award while Neha Sharma bagged talent award. The Nepalese models Roshan Sunam was awarded as best walk while Rachana Karki earned photogenic award.

Besides the fashion performances the event had various Bollywood dance performances and the Nepalese lass who have been working as an actress for various Indian TV Series, web series and theatre, Sabhyata Giri performed as the show stopper of the event.

The event was been choreographed and hosted by Nepalese fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. Earlier to this Rojin Shakya had choreographed four editions of international pageant 'Heritage pageants' and 'Miss Mermaid Singapore'.

Leena Dongol has been crowned as the winner of 3rd season of 'Beautician Talent Nepal'. as well as with the cash prize of twenty five thousand rupees and the best personality award too.

Among twenty six contestants, along with best nail art award Bandana Magrati earned the first runner-up position. Likewise along with best confidence award Mina Lama bagged the second runner-up position and along with best figure award Mishan Shrestha was chosen as the winner of public choice category.

Nepalese beauty Sophiya Bhujel has been successful to place herself as one of the top ten finalists in the grand finale of premier edition of Global Asian Models 2019. Along with Sophiya, top ten list included girs from Japan, Philippines, Canada, Thailand, UK, Singapore, USA and two from Vietnam.

The tall figured from Kathmandu Sophiya stands five feet seven inches tall and is 23 years of age. She has done bachelors in business management. Being a woman entrepreneur and a social worker is her aim. She is fond of making various cuisines, reading motivational contents and do loves writing as well.

The finale of the event was been showcased at Cove Night Club, Manila, Philippines on 21st November 2019. In the event, the representatives from Thailand, Falco Sornnarin and Artittaya Promchart were been elected as the winners. In the event Sangey Geylek was the male representative from Nepal.

Kali Prasad Baskota is a renowned singer, musician, composer and lyricist in Nepal. He began taking vocal classes in 1999. His musical career as a lyricist and composer began with the release of the song ‘Chahana Sakiyo’.

The release of the song ‘Jaalma,’in the movie ‘Resham Filili’ launched his singing career and remains one of his biggest hits. He went on to win the heart of people with the songs ‘Laija Re’ and ‘Saili’. Additionally, he contributed musical works in movies such as ‘Malatiko Bhatti’, ‘Resham Filili’, ‘Kabadi Kabadi’, ‘Loot’, ‘Visa Girl’, and ‘Manjari’.

A vegetarian since birth
Belonging to a Brahmin family, Baskota is a vegetarian since birth. Although he is rarely caught cooking in his kitchen, he is fond of testing out his taste buds with vegetarian delicacies. He confessed to having no particular favourite food besides the ones he gets to share with his family.
