Laxmi Tamang Moktan from Dolakha won the title of ‘8th Miss Tamang 2015’ in the capital Saturday. The event organized by Everest Fashion Home. She bagged the title defeating 33 contestants in the final round. Manisha Yonjan and Sujata Tamag won the ‘First Runner Up’ and ‘Second Runner Up’ title respectively.
In categorical subtitle, Paru Gole, Sajani Tamang, Saraswati Tamang, Nawang Moktan, Pema Ghising, Nisha Tamang, Tshiring Lama, Sonam Lama, Juna lama, Sushma Tamang, Santoshi Lpochan, Babita Tamang and Sangita Pakhrin got ‘Best Personality,’ ‘Best Dress’, ‘Photogenic’, ‘Best Catwalk’, ‘Discipline’, ‘Beautiful Hair’, ‘SMS Voting’, ‘Viewer Choice’, ‘Best Smile’, ‘Miss Friendship’, ‘Organizer Choice,’ ‘Best Figure’ and ‘Beauty With Purpose’ respectively.
According to Ranjita Lama Blon, organizer of the event, businessman Ichharaj Tamang, Dan Bahadur Tamang, student leader Nabina Lama, journalist Phul Man Bal and Roji Lopchan Tamang judged the participants.
